Dr. Numa is a double board-certified surgeon subspecializing in aesthetic facial plastic surgery. His practice is dedicated to providing the highest level of subspecialized cosmetic surgical and non-surgical care of the eyes, face, neck, nose, lips and ears. Dr. Numa is Board-certified by the of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, he is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a diplomate of the American Academy of Head and Neck Surgery.

Having an extensive record of satisfied patients is one of the most reliable individual predictors of surgical skill. Dr. Numa subspecializes in cosmetic facial plastic surgery, including cosmetic eyelid surgery, facelift surgery, nose surgery, in addition to other cosmetic surgical procedures and non-surgical treatments, including Botox Cosmetic and injectable dermal fillers.
Dr. Numa is known by both his patients and colleagues as a surgeon who strives to achieve an aesthetically-pleasing, and natural-appearing result in the surgical rejuvenation of the aging face, neck and eyes, as well as in rhinoplasty surgery. He arrives at this through a keen sense of aesthetics, as well as meticulously concealing incisions and avoiding unnatural contours and vectors.
His private practice is limited to aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. He is the co-editor of the textbook Master Techniques in Rhinoplasty and Nasal Reconstruction, as well as the author of multiple articles and book chapters on cosmetic facial plastic surgery, frequently lecturing extensively on these subjects. We value patient privacy as if it were our own, and strive to deliver individualized care within a professional environment. Our staff helps international and out-of-town patients with scheduling, traveling and lodging accomodations, as well as other pre- and post-operative planning.
Dr. Numa is a recognized surgeon and teacher. He maintains an academic affiliation as a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye and Eye Infirmary. He also lectures residents at Tufts University and Boston University Medical School.
Dr. Numa sees patients in consultation in the Back Bay in Boston at 38 Newbury Street, and in Winchester, Massachusetts.
